A Family Friendly Community Event
-
Jamie Macmillan, multi-award winning motivational speaker, Journeyman Ironworker, advocate for skilled trades, technology, mental health, homelessness and youth, is coming from Hamilton to share her inspiration! She will tell her story about living with ADHD, making poor decisions, and discovering the skilled trades, which changed her for the better, and helped her find her purpose in life!
There are many myths and perceptions about the skilled trades. Through her own experience as a "boots on the ground" Ironworker, Jamie demystifies these myths and leans into how truly incredible this career path can be and the outstanding benefits the skilled trades can bring to your life.
Through vulnerable and uplifting stories, Jamie leaves audiences filled with a newfound sense of purpose, direction, and courage to blaze their own trail!
